Fixing Broken Trusts

Let’s face it, all scriveners aren’t the same and sometimes things simply don’t play out as planned.  Tax changes, drafting errors and unforeseen circumstances abound in the world of trusts.

Many trusts are “irrevocable” meaning that they cannot be easily changed, even when they are not working as they should.  We can help.  Whether it be a Court driven modification or interpretation process, an IRS letter ruling or relief application, decanting through a state with a decanting statute, or a more vanilla non-judicial fix, we’ve seen a lot and we should be able to fix it if it’s fixable.
